Give Hope not Hunger this Christmas

This Christmas over 130,000 people in Britain, nearly 60,000 of them children, face going hungry.

In the six months to September, your local Trussell Trust foodbanks provided a jaw dropping 50,465 three day emergency food parcels to people across Eastern England. 19,022 of these went to children.

No family should have to decide between heating and eating this Christmas but without our support thousands will – many of them are right here in Eastern England.

By giving just a few pounds to our ‘Hope not Hunger’ Christmas appeal, you can help your local Trussell Trust foodbanks give people in Eastern England a decent meal and a warm home this winter.

Food and fuel poverty is on the rise with increasing numbers of working people being forced to turn to foodbanks to feed their families because their wages are too low and their work too insecure.

2016 is set to see The Trussell Trust deliver the highest number of food supplies in its history.

Your gift will help give ‘Hope not Hunger’ to people right here in Eastern England. You can donate securely online, via text, by phone or post.
